I. Product Overview

The MR-0.5L~10L Tilt-Type Shear Internal Smart Laboratory Mixer is a highly efficient, eco-friendly, and intelligent laboratory mixing system. It is specifically engineered for the blending and dispersing of rubber, plastics, powder metallurgy, cermets, and macromolecular polymer materials. Integrating advanced German engineering concepts and manufactured under the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, the equipment utilizes a "W"-shaped mixing chamber paired with an "M"-shaped upper ram and shear rotors. This design guarantees uniform material distribution, excellent dispersion, and stable material performance.

The system features a dual-channel dust extraction system, a patented powder-leak-proof shaft-end seal, and a Siemens PLC smart control panel. It delivers efficient mixing, precise data tracking, and a clean, aesthetically pleasing operation for material research, R&D, and university laboratories. Furthermore, it supports digitized experimentation by generating process data curves and enabling data import/export via USB.

II. Technical Principles

Inside the mixing chamber, two rotors rotate relatively at a specific speed ratio. The material from the feeding hopper is nipped and drawn into the mixing gap, where it undergoes compression and shearing by the rotors. After passing through the roll gap, the material hits the M-W sharp ridges of the chamber and is split into two parts. These parts flow along the gaps between the front/rear chamber walls and the rotors before returning to the top of the rotors.

The material moves dynamically within an "∞" (infinity-shaped) internal space, experiencing heating or cooling, shearing or intermeshing, and plasticizing or compounding. This advanced mechanism ensures uniform mixing and dispersion of various materials, achieving the precise requirements of the formula design and optimal physical properties.

  • Dual Dust Extraction Channels: Captures dust and volatile gases generated during mixing from multiple angles, quickly venting them to an external exhaust or a built-in dust collector.

  • Automotive-Grade PET Filter: High-efficiency polyester fiber filtration structure achieves micron-level dust filtering, significantly improving laboratory hygiene and operator safety.

  • Dual-Slide Dust Hood: Smooth vertical lifting paired with upper and lower sealing mechanisms to maximize the prevention of dust leakage.

  • Built-in + Mobile Dust Collection: Features a built-in silent, high-efficiency suction power channel to collect spillage from feeding and minor dust at the back of the chamber. The main large channel is located inside the eco-friendly chamber to control dust for the entire machine. Concurrently, a mobile dust collector is provided to clean corners or accidental spills.

2. Patented Powder-Leak-Proof Shaft-End Seal

  • Four-Ring Locking Technology: The rotor shaft end adopts a patented design featuring dual wear rings and a dual-angular structure. Working in tandem with the four-ring locking function, it achieves highly effective powder-leak prevention that far surpasses traditional mechanical seals.

  • Infrared Light Curtain Protection: An infrared safety light curtain is installed on the inside of the dust hood in front of the mixing chamber. If an operator's hand or a tool enters the danger zone, the equipment stops instantly and triggers an audible and visual alarm.

  • Full Data Digitization: The Siemens color touchscreen displays and records digital curves of current, speed, temperature, and torque in real time. Data can be exported via USB as Excel files for research traceability.

  • Recipe Storage: Capable of storing, numbering, and editing dozens of mixing recipes to ensure batch-to-batch testing consistency.

VI. Installation & Infrastructure Requirements

Notice for Overseas Customers: To ensure a smooth installation process, please prepare the following utilities prior to the equipment's arrival:
  • Power Supply: 380V, 50Hz/60Hz, 3-phase 5-wire system (voltage fluctuation within ±10%). Custom voltage configurations are available upon request.

  • Water Supply: Inlet water pressure of 0.2 ~ 0.4 MPa. Industrial softened water is highly recommended to prevent scaling; tap water or cooling tower water is also acceptable.

  • Air Supply: Air compressor connection required with a pressure of 0.4 ~ 0.6 MPa (the upper ram requires 0.3 ~ 0.8 MPa).

  • Unloading Equipment: The machine weighs approximately (Customizable) kg. Users must provide their own forklift or crane for unloading and positioning the equipment.
